2D Designer & Cutting List Expert

We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented 2D Designer & Cutting List Expert with hands-on experience in interior design drawings, technical detailing, and cutting list preparation.

The ideal candidate must be capable of independently preparing accurate 2D interior drawings and detailed cutting lists based on site measurements and approved designs, ensuring that all drawings and material requirements are technically accurate and ready for execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. 2D Interior Design & Technical Drawings

- Prepare detailed 2D interior design and execution drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings required for interior execution.
- Prepare accurate dimensions, levels, material specifications, and technical details.
- Convert design concepts and site measurements into clear, execution-ready drawings.

2. Cutting List Preparation & Accuracy

- Prepare detailed and accurate cutting lists based on approved 2D drawings and site measurements.
- Calculate exact dimensions, quantities, materials, and components required for execution.
- Ensure cutting lists are fully coordinated with the corresponding drawings.
- Cross-check dimensions and quantities to minimize material wastage and avoid production/execution errors.
- Revise cutting lists whenever there are changes in drawings, site conditions, or material requirements.
- Coordinate with the execution and production teams to clarify cutting requirements and technical details.

3. Site Measurement & Technical Preparation

- Conduct and verify site measurements and existing conditions.
- Translate site measurements into accurate technical drawings and cutting requirements.




- Identify dimensional or technical discrepancies before execution.
- Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to resolve technical issues.

4. Quality Control & Accountability

- Thoroughly check drawings and cutting lists before issuing them for execution.
- Ensure complete accuracy in dimensions, quantities, materials, and technical specifications.
- Take ownership of the accuracy and completeness of all drawings and cutting lists.
- Identify and rectify errors before they reach the production or execution stage.

Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong practical knowledge of 2D interior technical drawings and detailing.
- Expertise in cutting list preparation and dimensional calculations.
- Good understanding of interior materials, dimensions, construction details, and execution requirements.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar interior design/detailing software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience Required 1–3 years of relevant industry experience in:

- Interior 2D technical drawings

- Interior execution drawings

- Cutting list preparation

- Technical drafting and detailing
- Site measurement and technical documentation

Preferred Candidate We are looking for someone who is strong in both 2D Interior Designing/Technical Drafting and Cutting List Preparation, with the ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with design, production, and site execution teams.
