Key Responsibilities

Accounting & reporting

- Oversee day-to-day accounting, books closure and monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Prepare MIS, cash-flow forecasts and fleet- and route-wise profitability and cost reports (diesel, tyres, maintenance, freight)
- Supervise accounts staff and ensure timely, accurate bookkeeping

Taxation & compliance

- Handle direct tax: advance tax, TDS/TCS, income tax returns, assessments and notices
- Handle GST: monthly and annual returns, reconciliations (GSTR-2B), input tax credit, e-way bill and RCM compliance
- Ensure ROC, Companies Act, PF/ESI and other statutory compliances are met on time

Audit & controls

- Coordinate statutory, tax and internal audits; close audit queries
- Strengthen internal controls, vouchers and approval workflows

Tenders & banking

- Prepare financial documents for tenders: turnover certificates, net worth, CA certificates, bank solvency and EMD/performance guarantee tracking
- Manage banking relationships: working-capital limits, CC/OD, term loans, stock and debtor statements, and renewals
- Monitor receivables,



payables and payment cycles with PSU and corporate clients

Advisory

- Advise the directors on tax planning, funding, asset purchases and financial risk

Qualifications & Experience

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI member);
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in industry or a CA firm
- Solid working knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS and the Companies Act
- Experience in logistics, transport, infrastructure or contracting is preferred
- Exposure to government tendering, GeM and PSU billing is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

- Proficient in Tally Prime or a comparable ERP, advanced Excel and GST/TDS portals
- Sound judgement in tax positions, with a habit of documenting decisions
- Clear written and spoken communication in English and Hindi
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage a small team
- High integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
