Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Overview

SA Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Cypress, Java Script, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust automation frameworks, continuous testing, and close collaboration with development teams.

This is a remote role; however, candidates from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai are preferred for better collaboration and timezone alignment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress

- Build and enhance automation frameworks for scalable testing solutions

- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for web applications (PHP-based)

- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

- Execute cross-browser testing and ensure application stability

- Work in Linux environments and perform basic command-line operations

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)

- Execute SQL queries for backend data validation

- Collaborate with developers, product managers,



and stakeholders for defect resolution and release readiness

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–7 years of QA experience with strong focus on automation testing

- Hands-on experience with Cypress automation framework

- Strong proficiency in Java Script for test automation scripting

- Experience working in Linux environments

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)

- Basic understanding of SQL for backend validation

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)

- Exposure to additional frameworks/tools (Playwright, Selenium, etc.)

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (Browser Stack, Sauce Labs)

Educational Qualification
