JD: Workday Integrations QA Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Workday Integrations QA professional with robust experience testing inbound and outbound integrations across Workday implementations, enhancements, and ongoing releases. The candidate will validate integration design, data flow, transformation logic, error handling, security, and end-to-end processing to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

The role will involve developing and executing integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios; validating inbound and outbound data; monitoring integration results; identifying and documenting defects; supporting defect triage and retesting; and partnering closely with Workday integration developers, functional leads, business stakeholders, and implementation teams throughout the testing lifecycle.

Must-Know Skills

Workday integration concepts, including inbound/outbound integrations,



Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services, and APIs.

Experience with OAuth 2.0 authentication, including token validation and troubleshooting.

RaaS report testing, including data sources, filters, prompts, calculated fields, and output validation.

Integration data mapping, transformation, validation, monitoring, error handling, and reprocessing.

API testing using Postman and familiarity with XML, JSON, CSV, SOAP, and REST.

Functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, UAT, and Workday release testing.

Test planning, execution, evidence documentation, defect management, retesting, and closure.

Understanding of Workday business processes, approvals, condition rules, calculated fields, and security.
