We are currently seeking a Calypso CATT Consultant to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Calypso CATT – Senior Consultant – 8+ Years

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Calypso CATT Consultant with 8+ years of experience in Calypso application testing, automation, and capital-markets technology. The role involves designing and implementing automated testing solutions using Calypso CATT, covering front-to-back trade lifecycles, regression testing, integration testing, and release validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain Calypso CATT automated test cases for functional and regression testing.
- Strong understanding of Calypso Front Office, Back Office and Collateral flows.
- Automate end-to-end trade lifecycle scenarios covering:
- Trade capture and validation, Confirmation, Position management, Settlement – Security and Cash, Payments and cash flows, Accounting, Collateral, Cash Management
- Create reusable CATT test components, test data, workflows, assertions, and validation rules.
- Perform SIT, regression, integration, UAT and release testing using CATT.
- Analyze test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and distinguish between application defects, configuration issues, data issues and environment issues.
- Work closely with Calypso Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects and Infrastructure teams to resolve testing issues.
- Define test strategies and Support Calypso version upgrades, migrations and production releases, including regression automation and parallel-run validation.
- Maintain test suites and automation assets across multiple Calypso environments.




- Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Prepare test strategy, test scenarios, traceability matrices, execution reports and defect metrics.
- Mentor junior CATT resources and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.

Required Technical Skills

- 8+ years of experience in Calypso application testing / QA
- Solid hands-on experience with Calypso CATT
- Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and trade lifecycle
- Experience in at least one Cash and one Security Calypso asset classes:
- FX, Bond, Repo, CA, Commodities, Cash Management
- Robust SQL and database validation skills.
- Experience with Calypso APIs, interfaces and messaging.
- Knowledge of SWIFT / ISO 20022, MQ is desirable.
- Experience with Jenkins / Git / CI-CD and other automation tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement, payments, accounting and reconciliation.

Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
