Role Description The Community Mobilizer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for engaging local communities to support and scale the foundation’s sustainability initiatives.



The role involves coordinating outreach activities, organizing awareness sessions and events, and mobilizing residents, institutions, and partners to participate in programs such as zero waste events, “Borrow a Bag,” and community recycling efforts. The Community Mobilizer will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, record feedback from participants, and support behavior change campaigns focused on waste management and single-use plastic reduction. Daily tasks include field visits, facilitating community meetings, managing volunteer participation, and collaborating with the internal team to report progress and refine engagement strategies. The role requires regular documentation of activities, timely communication with project leads, and proactive participation in planning recent community-based initiatives.
