Responsibilities
• Design robust serverless solutions using AWS Lambda to support complex bioinformatics data processing workflows that ensure reliable performance and scalability for scientific analysis tasks.
• Develop productive Python based applications and scripts that transform cleanse and standardize diverse bioinformatics datasets to improve data quality and downstream analytic accuracy.
• Architect data integration pipelines using AWS Glue that enable secure ingestion curation and cataloging of genomic proteomic and clinical data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Coordinate with cross functional research and product teams to translate bioinformatics requirements into well structured technical designs that align with organizational goals and regulatory expectations.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring logging and alerting for Lambda functions Glue jobs and Python services to enhance system observability reduce incidents and improve response times.
• Optimize data models storage strategies and query patterns for large scale bioinformatics datasets to achieve cost efficient and performant analytics in the cloud environment.
