HR Business Data Steward

Your Role

Data is at the heart of every excellent people decision, and in this role, you will be the guardian of that data. As an HR Business Data Steward, you will ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of employee data across HR systems and connected downstream applications. You will define data standards, manage data cataloguing and lineage, drive data quality improvements, and act as a trusted partner to data owners, process experts, and business stakeholders.



Your work directly enables better workforce insights and more reliable HR operations across the organization.

Education

Who You Are

• You bring 2 to 4+ years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, or HR data management, with hands on exposure to HR systems and downstream data consumers.
• You have a solid understanding of data governance concepts, including data quality, metadata, catalogues, lineage, and retention, and are familiar with HR data domains such as employee and organizational data, payroll, compensation, learning, talent acquisition, and skills data.
• You have functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and a strong grasp of HR data operations and processes.
• You are skilled at root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA), with the ability to monitor, measure, and improve data quality metrics such as completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and integrity.
