About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Data Annotation to manage the day-to-day production of annotation teams across one or two client projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for task allocation, productivity, quality monitoring, team performance, and timely escalation of operational issues.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate data annotation teams to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
• Allocate tasks across annotators, contractors, and partner teams, adjusting workloads when required.
• Monitor work quality during production and coach team members to reduce errors.




• Ensure team members understand and follow project-specific annotation guidelines.
• Track daily attendance, productivity, throughput, and first-pass quality.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports covering output, quality, and operational issues.
• Identify and escalate blockers, including tool issues, unclear guidelines, and resource shortages.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, QA teams, and training leads to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data annotation, including experience leading or reviewing the work of others.
• Hands-on experience with at least one annotation tool, such as CVAT, Labelbox, V7, Supervisely, or Segments.ai.
• Practical experience in image, video, LiDAR, text, or audio annotation.
• Proven ability to track team productivity, meet daily targets, and monitor quality metrics.
