The Assistant Controller will support the Fractional Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting preparation, reconciliations, and compliance processes. This role ensures timely execution of accounting workflows, accuracy in financial data, and audit readiness, while maintaining solid internal controls.

Summers (On or After 8th March to 31st October) 03:30 pm to 12:30 am Indian Standard Time
Winters (On or After 1st Nov to 7th March): 4:30 pm to 01:30 am Indian Standard Time

Key Responsibilities
Financial Close & Reporting Support
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger reconciliations.
• Draft preliminary financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
• Support preparation of supporting schedules for audit and management reporting.
• Maintain reporting templates, dashboards, and KPI trackers.

Accounting Operations Support
• Manage and monitor AP, AR, payroll coordination, and journal entry preparation.




• Prepare and post routine journal entries.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation tracking.
• Ensure completeness and organization of accounting documentation.
• Support internal control documentation and compliance procedures.

Budgeting & Forecast Assistance
• Assist in preparation of budget templates and forecasting models.
• Update cash flow projections and variance analysis reports.
• Compile departmental inputs for annual budget preparation.

Audit & Compliance Support
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation for external auditors.
• Maintain compliance checklists and regulatory filings tracker.
• Coordinate documentation requests between internal teams and auditors.

Process & Systems Support
• Assist in documentation of SOPs and accounting workflows.
• Support system improvements, report automation, and accounting software enhancements (including Microsoft Dynamics).
