We’re hiring: QA Engineer — Manual and Automation Testing
Location: Pune
Duration: 12 months contract
Experience: 3+ years

AITEK is looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of an end-to-end sentiment-analysis platform covering Voice of Customer data ingestion, sentiment processing, Angular dashboards, FastAPI services, and business reports.

Key responsibilities:
• Prepare test plans, scenarios, and test data for web applications, APIs, and data integrations
• Test authentication, pagination, throttling, retries, schema changes, and failure recovery
• Reconcile source, ingestion, processing, and report totals
• Validate filters, aggregations, time zones, exports, sentiment labels, confidence scores, topics, and classifications
• Build automated UI and API tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Automate API and data-validation testing with Postman or Python




• Execute regression tests and support release sign-off
• Log, triage, and track defects through resolution in Jira
• Maintain automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines
• Produce testing metrics and release-readiness reports

What we’re looking for:
• 3+ years of manual and automated testing experience
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Experience with Postman or Python-based API automation
• Solid SQL, JSON, CSV, and data-reconciliation skills
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, CI/CD, and defect management
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience with performance testing, BDD, Docker, Kubernetes, telecommunications, CX platforms, or ML/NLP output validation is advantageous.
