Job Description – Laser OperatorPurpose of the Job

To operate and maintain laser cutting, welding and engraving machines for jewellery production, ensuring high accuracy, precision and quality as per product requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate laser cutting, welding and engraving machines as per the required karat and specifications of jewellery products.
- Monitor machines during operation and adjust laser speed, intensity and other parameters as required.
- Monitor product quality and ensure accurate and proper finishing.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of laser equipment.
- Maintain production and machine-operation records.
- Ensure minimum breakage, damage and wastage of jewellery products.
- Achieve daily production targets as per assigned job work across different categories of jewellery.




- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Required Skills & Competencies

- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in laser operations, preferably in the jewellery industry.
- Knowledge of laser cutting, welding and engraving processes.
- Ability to operate and adjust laser machines as per product requirements.
- Good understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Solid attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality.
- Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.

Qualification

Any Qualification – Technical skills as per training norms.
