JOB DESCRIPTION: ACCOUNTANT
Position: Accountant (Accounts, Taxation, Banking & Compliance)

Location: Anand, Gujarat (388001)

Job Overview
We are looking for a detailed-oriented and experienced Accountant to independently manage routine accounting, GST/TDS compliances, vendor/customer ledger reconciliations, banking operations, and audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting:

Manage day-to-day accounting, voucher entries (Sales, Purchase, Receipts, Payments, Contra, Journal), Cash/Bank books, and General Ledger.

Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) and maintain ageing reports.

Conduct vendor/customer ledger reconciliations and directly coordinate regarding payments, invoices, and discrepancies.

Taxation & Compliance (GST, TDS & Income Tax):

Independently handle preparation, reconciliation, and filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B (including ITC verification and GSTR-2B reconciliation).

Handle basic E-Invoice and E-Way Bill generation.

Calculate TDS, prepare/file TDS returns, and perform TDS/26AS/AIS reconciliations.





Assist in basic Income Tax compliance and coordinate with Chartered Accountants (CA) for statutory/tax audits and assessments.

Banking & Finance:

Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS), manage online banking (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), vendor payments, and cheque tracking.

Handle Current Account operations, loan/CC/OD EMI tracking, and bank financial documentation.

Audit Support & Compliance Handling:

Conduct ledger scrutiny, prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss accounts, and Balance Sheet workings.

Assist management with notices, discrepancies, or queries by gathering records and liaising with CAs, CS, Advocates, or Bankers.

Key Requirements & Skills
Software: Proficient in Tally Prime / Tally ERP, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), GST, and Income Tax portals.

Knowledge: Sound understanding of GST, TDS, banking norms, and basic payroll (PF/ESIC).

Soft Skills: Strong numerical accuracy, high degree of confidentiality, independent working capability, and valuable communication skills (written/spoken) for handling external stakeholders.
