Job SummaryHackerKernel is looking for an experienced QA Analyst with robust fundamentals in manual testing, test case design, defect management, and software quality assurance. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently testing web applications, validating AI-generated data against source documents, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet business requirements.
Experience with AI-powered document processing, financial documents, mortgage applications, or data extraction systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities• Analyze business requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web applications and validate application behavior from the end user's perspective.
• Validate AI-extracted information against original documents, including payslips, bank statements, tax summaries, and other financial documents.
• Identify data mismatches, extraction errors, UI inconsistencies, functional defects,



and critical issues.
• Design and execute positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and exploratory testing.
• Report defects with clear descriptions, screenshots, expected versus actual results, and reproducible steps.
• Use JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools to log, assign, prioritize, track, retest, and close defects.
• Coordinate with frontend and backend developers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before release.
• Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, reviews, and other SDLC activities.
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, bug reports, and QA status updates.
• Work independently while coordinating with multiple development teams.
