Volunteers help participants gain the skills needed for financial independence and informed decision-making.

Role Description This is a remote volunteer role with Project Vruddhi. Volunteers support the planning and delivery of financial literacy workshops by assisting with content creation, organizing materials, and coordinating virtual sessions. Day-to-day tasks may include researching financial topics, preparing presentations or learning resources, engaging with participants during online events, and gathering feedback to improve future sessions.





Volunteers may also contribute to social media outreach and community partnerships to raise awareness of the organization’s programs. The role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to develop skills while contributing to meaningful social change.

Qualifications

- Ability to research and understand basic financial concepts, such as budgeting, saving, and responsible spending.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating educational materials and interacting with participants.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, shared documents, messaging platforms).
- Organizational skills for managing tasks, coordinating sessions, and meeting agreed timelines.
- Interest in gender equity, financial literacy, and community development.
- Ability to work respectfully with diverse groups and maintain a supportive, inclusive environment.
- Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or volunteering is helpful but not required.
- Availability to commit consistent time each week and reliable internet access for work from home.
