About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Transport Coordinator – Cargo & Logistics to manage day-to-day transportation operations and ensure the smooth and timely movement of shipments.

The ideal candidate must have relevant experience in the Cargo, Freight Forwarding, CHA (Customs House Agent), or Logistics industry and possess practical knowledge of transportation coordination, fleet management, shipment tracking, documentation, and delivery follow-ups.

The candidate will coordinate with transporters, drivers, vendors, clients, CHA teams, warehouse personnel, and internal operations teams to ensure efficient transportation and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily transportation operations, cargo movement, pickups, and deliveries.
- Plan dispatch schedules and coordinate vehicle allocation and driver assignments.
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, clients, CHA teams, and internal departments.
- Track shipments and monitor ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), ETD (Estimated Time of Departure), and EDD (Estimated Delivery Date).
- Follow up on shipment status, pending deliveries, and transportation delays.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding material readiness and dispatch priorities.
- Maintain vehicle, driver, shipment, and delivery records.
- Handle POD (Proof of Delivery), invoices, E-way Bills, and shipment documentation.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, operational records, and shipment status reports.
- Resolve delivery issues, vehicle-related challenges, and transportation scheduling conflicts.




- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide timely operational updates.

- Shipment status reporting and operational follow-ups

- MS Excel
- Google Sheets and spreadsheets
- Google Docs and MS Word
- Email communication
- Internet and web-based tools

Industry Experience – Mandatory:

Candidates must have relevant professional experience in one or more of the following:

- Cargo and Logistics
- Freight Forwarding
- CHA (Customs House Agent)
- Transportation and Logistics Operations

Candidates with practical experience in fleet coordination, vehicle allocation, driver management, shipment tracking, dispatch planning, and delivery coordination will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Valuable follow-up, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and transportation activities.
- Attention to detail in documentation and operational reporting.
- A proactive approach to resolving delays and ensuring timely deliveries.
