About Valence Advanced Materials Private Limited

Valence is a technical materials company and a deeptech enabler. The role

You will own the flow of materials from supplier dispatch to customer delivery. Get it right, and aerospace and defence programmes keep moving. This role gives you real ownership, a team to lead, and room to grow into supply chain leadership as Valence scales.

What you will do

Inbound and customs

- Work with the assigned freight forwarder: verify House Air Waybills and track every shipment to Yelahanka and Chennai FTWZ.
- Approve the Bill of Entry checklist and tell accounts the duty and IGST payable on each shipment.
- Handle FTWZ delivery orders, repacking letters and customs queries with our warehousing partner.
- Keep every shipment file complete and our import-export licence current.

Warehouse and inventory

- Inspect arrivals, raise insurance claims for damage, and inward goods in Tranzact against the purchase order.
- Escalate any rejection for a decision.
- Keep inventory, codes and labels accurate.
- Lead two warehouse helpers to Valence's packing SOP.





Dispatch and quality documents

- Prepare Certificates of Conformity from supplier batch numbers, and sign them once approved.
- Pack orders and send the full document set (invoice, PO, data sheet, Certificate of Conformity) to customers, in print and digitally.
- Arrange transporters and share dockets with customers.

What we expect

Must have

- A bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2 to 4 years in import logistics, warehouse operations or customs documentation.
- Hands-on knowledge of air waybills, Bills of Entry, invoices and packing lists.
- Valuable Excel and comfort with inventory software. We will train you on Tranzact.
- Your own vehicle for travel within Bengaluru, and willingness to travel to Chennai when needed.

Nice to have

- Experience with aerospace, electronics, chemicals or other specification-controlled materials.
- Experience with freight forwarders, customs brokers or a free trade warehousing zone.

- Accurate: one wrong code or missing document delays a customer.
- A natural owner who leads by example on the floor.
- Trustworthy with sensitive supplier information. You will sign an NDA, your access will match your role, and there is a probation period.
