Noida

Job title: Student Experience Executive – Study Abroad (UK & Ireland)

Company: The Mentors Circle

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh (In office, Sector 18)

Employment type: Full-time

Experience: 2–4 years

About The Mentors Circle The Mentors Circle has been sending Indian students to study in Ireland and the UK since 2014. We’ve placed more than 15,000 students in universities such as UCD, Trinity College Dublin, University College Cork and universities across the UK. Our visa success rate is 98%, and we’re endorsed by Enterprise Ireland. Most of our new students come through referrals from students already studying abroad, so their experience with us matters as much as their admission.

About the role

Going abroad to study is one of the biggest decisions an Indian family makes. It involves large sums of money, months of uncertainty and a child moving thousands of kilometres away. We’re creating this role to make sure every student and parent feels well looked after from the first enquiry until the student has settled in Ireland or the UK.

You’ll be the student’s voice inside TMC. You’ll speak to students and parents at every stage of their study-abroad journey, collect honest feedback, resolve their concerns, and tell leadership what we need to fix. You’ll report directly to the Founder & Director and work independently of the counselling and sales team.

What you’ll do

Feedback across the study-abroad journey

- Call students and parents at each key stage:
- after their first counselling session
- after the university shortlist
- when their offer arrives
- during visa preparation and after the visa decision
- before they fly

- two weeks after they arrive in Ireland or the UK
- three months into their course
- Check that students understood the full picture: tuition and living costs, scholarships, part-time work rules, post-study work options, and what life in Dublin, Cork, London or their city is really like
- Keep in touch with students once they’re studying abroad: accommodation, part-time jobs, settling into their course, and any problems with their university or immigration registration

Complaints and escalations

- Own every student and parent complaint from start to finish, whether it’s about an application delay, missing documents, visa stress, accommodation or a counselling mismatch, and close each one with a written resolution within 48 hours
- Handle sensitive cases calmly, including visa refusals, deferred offers and worried parents whose child is abroad

Quality and insight

- Listen to a weekly sample of counselling calls and check that the advice on universities, costs and visas was accurate and honest
- Track satisfaction scores by stage and by counsellor, and give leadership a monthly report on the main complaints, the reasons students drop out, and what to fix
- Speak to students who drop out, defer, or choose another agency, to find out why

Student community and referrals

- Collect genuine Google reviews, video testimonials and success stories from students studying in Ireland and the UK
- Build referrals from current students and their families
- Help bring together current students and alumni for pre-departure sessions and peer calls with new students

What we’re looking for

- A graduate in any discipline. Having studied abroad yourself is a big plus
- 2–4 years in student services, student support, customer success or complaint handling, ideally with a study-abroad consultancy, university, student accommodation provider or international education company
- A good understanding of the study-abroad journey: applications, offers, deposits, student visas, pre-departure and arrival.

Knowing

Ireland or the UK specifically is a strong advantage

- Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi
- Empathy for students far from home and patience with anxious parents, combined with the confidence to raise issues honestly inside the team
- Organised and comfortable with numbers: Google Sheets or Excel, a CRM, and simple reports
- Comfortable with occasional calls outside office hours, because students abroad are 4.5–5.5 hours behind India

What we offer

- A competitive fixed salary
- A new role you can shape, with direct access to the Founder
- In-depth training on Irish and UK universities, student visas and student life abroad
- The chance to stay in touch with students through their whole journey abroad
- A clear path to Student Experience Manager as the team grows
