Job Summary The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling day-to-day sheet metal production activities. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, production planning, manpower management, and manufacturing processes, along with basic AutoCAD knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Manage sheet metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, CNC bending, fabrication, welding, assembly, and finishing.
- Coordinate with the design, quality, purchase, stores, and dispatch departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Allocate manpower, machines, and materials according to production requirements.




- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and production documents.
- Use basic AutoCAD knowledge to view drawings, understand dimensions, and support production-related activities.
- Maintain production records, daily production reports, and job-wise progress reports.
- Monitor rejection, rework, material wastage, and machine downtime, and take corrective actions.
- Ensure product quality, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to customer specifications.
- Implement 5S, workplace safety practices, and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with the stores and purchase teams to avoid production delays.
