About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Engineer based at our Head Office in Karnal. The role entails independently preparing and finalizing client RA (Running Account) bills, verifying subcontractor/vendor invoices, managing quantity reconciliation, and coordinating directly with clients and site teams across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Billing: Independently prepare, submit, and transparent monthly/item-rate RA bills, final bills, and price escalation claims in accordance with contract BOQs and CPWD/standard specifications.
- Multi-Site Oversight: Coordinate with site project managers and site engineers across active sites to collect joint measurement sheets (JMS), certified abstract sheets, and Pour Cards.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Billing: Scrutinize and verify piece-rate, labor, and subcontractor bills against verified site measurements before passing for payment.
- Reconciliation: Conduct monthly material consumption vs. theoretical reconciliation (steel, cement, RMC, shuttering items, etc.) to control site wastages.
- Client & Consultant Meetings: Attend client review meetings, defend measurements and item deviations, resolve billing queries, and expedite certificate and payment processing.
- Site Inspections:



Conduct periodic site visits for critical measurement verification, milestone sign-offs, or audit checks.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 4 to 8 years in civil contracting, infrastructure, or commercial/industrial construction projects with proven client-billing ownership.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (for measurement cross-checks), and billing formats. Familiarity with ERP software is a plus.
- Core Competencies: Solid understanding of standard modes of measurement (IS 1200), contract clauses, variation/extra item analysis, and rate analysis.
- Communication: Confident presentation and negotiation skills for dealing directly with client representatives, PMC consultants, and site teams.
