Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer – BMS to manage and support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Management Systems. The role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of building automation systems, providing technical support, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

The candidate will coordinate service activities, supervise service engineers and technicians, ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks, and maintain compliance with service-level agreements and applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise service engineers and technicians responsible for BMS maintenance and service activities.

Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of BMS equipment and systems.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution of service complaints.

Ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, equipment, and other resources required for maintenance and repairs.

Schedule routine maintenance visits and emergency service calls.

Monitor team performance and ensure service activities are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), contractual commitments, and customer requirements.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding BMS service-related issues and technical queries.

Conduct regular client meetings and review service performance to maintain customer satisfaction.

Support BMS system upgrades, technological improvements, and integration requirements.





Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, equipment performance, and corrective actions.

Prepare periodic reports for clients and management on system performance, service outcomes, and energy usage.

Monitor service costs, resource allocation, invoicing, and accounts receivable (AR) collection as required.

Assist in preparing and managing the BMS service department budget.

Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Stay updated on the latest developments in BMS technology and building automation systems.

Required Skills and Competencies

Practical knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).

Experience in BMS servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.

Ability to coordinate and supervise service engineers and technicians.

Strong client communication and relationship management skills.

Experience in service scheduling, reporting, and SLA management.

Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Good problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

3–5 years of relevant experience in the BMS service industry.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering.

Experience in managing service calls, maintenance schedules, technical issues, and customer escalations.

Ability to coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
