Job Overview

We are looking for a R&D; Engineer – EV 2-Wheeler to support the design, development, testing and improvement of electric two-wheeler electrical and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Support R&D; activities for electric 2-wheelers and EV electrical systems.
- Assist in development and testing of EV batteries, BMS, chargers and DC-DC converters.
- Work on BLDC/PMSM motor controllers and basic motor control systems.
- Support development and testing of wiring harness, connectors, fuses, relays and electrical components.
- Perform functional, performance, thermal and reliability testing of EV components.
- Assist in prototype assembly, vehicle testing and validation.
- Troubleshoot battery, BMS, charger, controller, motor and wiring-related issues.
- Use testing equipment such as multimeter, DC power supply and oscilloscope.
- Assist in component selection, replacement and cost-reduction activities.
- Prepare BOM, circuit diagrams, test reports, specifications and technical documentation.




- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Purchase and Service teams for product development.
- Support field-failure analysis and corrective actions.
- Assist in EMI/EMC, safety and compliance testing.

Required Skills

- 5–6 years of experience in EV / Automobile / Power Electronics R&D;.
- Hands-on knowledge of EV 2-wheeler electrical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge of Lithium-ion battery packs and BMS.
- Basic knowledge of SMPS, DC-DC converters and battery chargers.
- Understanding of BLDC/PMSM motors and motor controllers.
- Knowledge of CAN communication will be an advantage.
- Ability to read circuit and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of PCB, electronic components and microcontrollers.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- EV prototype testing and validation experience will be preferred.

Preferred Profile

Candidates from EV 2-Wheeler, EV Battery, Automotive Electronics, Battery Charger, Power Electronics or Automobile R&D; backgrounds will be preferred.
