The role

Our DS/ML teams work on some of the hardest problems in ad tech: predicting what an ad will earn before it’s shown, matching the right ad to a page in milliseconds, and learning from clicks that are rare and noisy. You’ll be the PM who decides which of these bets we take, in what order, and how we know they worked.





You won’t build the models. You’ll work alongside the people who do, and your job is to turn open-ended research into a roadmap that moves revenue.

What you’ll work on

- Revenue and CTR prediction: how do we estimate it across thousands of domains and millions of URLs, by slot, device, location and content?
- Ad matching: how do we handle cold-start for new ads and pages, and make explore-exploit learn faster?
- Targeting: how do we combine contextual and behavioral signals well?
- Identity resolution: how do we build a reliable user identity out of messy signals?
- NLP: what can we learn from page and ad content that we’re missing today?

What you’ll do

- Own the roadmap for one or more of these areas and balance long-shot research against wins we can ship now
- Turn early prototypes into scoped, sequenced initiatives with DS and Engineering
- Decide what success looks like (model quality, revenue, latency, adoption) and build the reporting to track it
- Explain the roadmap to leadership and cross-functional teams, and why it deserves the investment

You might be a fit if you have

- 6+ years in product, with real time working alongside DS, ML or research teams
- Shipped something that moved a core metric (revenue, engagement, efficiency) at scale
- Enough ML fluency to follow and challenge a conversation about ranking, bandits or sparse data
- Strong instincts for experimentation, and the ability to tell when an offline win won’t hold up online
- The ability to explain technical trade-offs plainly to non-technical people

Bonus

Ad tech, programmatic or auction marketplace experience. Exposure to large-scale data platforms or NLP products.
