Position Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure/AI Engineer with advanced expertise in Python, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building and deploying production-grade AI applications using Azure AI Search, embeddings, vector search, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure data services. The role involves developing scalable AI solutions, integrating APIs, deploying applications using containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and implementing MLOps/LLMOps and CI/CD practices while ensuring security, responsible AI, observability, performance, and cost optimization.

Your future duties and responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI applications using Python and Microsoft Azure services.
- Build and optimize Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and Large Language Models.
- Develop and implement RAG-based applications and Agentic AI solutions.
- Implement semantic search capabilities using Azure AI Search, embeddings, and vector search.
- Build, deploy, and manage machine learning and AI workloads using Azure Machine Learning and Azure data services.
- Develop and integrate APIs to connect AI applications with enterprise systems and data sources.
- Containerize applications and deploy scalable workloads using containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).




- Implement and maintain MLOps/LLMOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and lifecycle management.
- Apply Azure security best practices and Responsible AI principles across AI application development and deployment.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and logging to ensure application reliability and operational visibility.
- Optimize AI application scalability, performance, latency, and cloud resource utilization.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure and model-related costs while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Must-Have Skills:

- Advanced expertise in Python programming.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Foundry.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI and Generative AI application development.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI.
- Experience with Azure AI Search, embeddings, and vector search.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade AI applications using Azure Machine Learning and Azure data services.
- Experience developing and integrating APIs.
- Experience with containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong understanding of MLOps/LLMOps and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of Azure security and Responsible AI principles.
- Experience with observability, scalability, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience designing scalable enterprise AI architectures on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience optimizing RAG pipelines, semantic retrieval, and vector search implementations.
- Experience deploying and managing AI applications in containerized environments.
- Familiarity with AI application monitoring, operational reliability, and lifecycle management.
- Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure and AI workloads for cost and performance.
