About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Architect to own the complete technology architecture of the company end-to-end. As the technical backbone of the company’s engineering function, you will design scalable distributed systems, robust enterprise solutions, clean APIs, secure integrations, and cutting-edge AI-enabled platforms.

The ideal candidate is a deep technical thinker, strong system designer, practical problem solver, and trusted advisor to engineering, product, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Architectural Ownership: Own the company’s overall technology architecture across applications, platforms, APIs, integrations, AI systems, infrastructure, and data flows.
- Scalable & Secure Solution Design: Design high-performance, secure, reliable, and maintainable systems tailored for immediate and future business growth. Lead solution architecture for new products, modules, AI capabilities, and partner integrations.
- Standards & Best Practices: Define API design standards, integration patterns, cloud architecture principles, AI system design principles, and software engineering best practices.
- Technical Governance & Reviews: Review system designs, database models, technical proposals, API contracts, AI workflows, and cloud infrastructure choices. Identify technical debt, scalability bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and AI governance risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering leads, product managers, DevOps, QA, security, data science/AI teams,



and executive stakeholders.
- Cloud-Native & AI Integration Guidance: Guide teams on microservices, event-driven architecture, modular design, observability, AI-assisted workflows, and system reliability.
- Compliance & Security Safeguards: Ensure systems meet strict regulatory compliance, security, auditability, cost-efficiency, and responsible AI usage standards.
- Mentorship & Documentation: Mentor engineers and technical leads to elevate engineering maturity. Maintain technical roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Overall Experience: 15 years of software engineering experience.
- Leadership Experience: At least 6 years in an Architect, Principal Engineer, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Senior Technical Leadership role.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing large-scale distributed systems, microservices, enterprise-grade platforms, and REST/event-driven APIs.
- AI & Automation: Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI-enabled systems, LLM-based applications, AI workflows, or ML-integrated product features.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Strong hands-on cloud experience, preferably within Microsoft Azure. Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines,



containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), logging, monitoring, and cloud cost management.
- Security & Governance: Deep understanding of secure system design, including OAuth/OIDC, encryption, access control, audit trails, and responsible AI safeguards.
- Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to evaluate technical trade-offs clearly and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Education: Degree from top-tier engineering institutions (such as IITs, IIITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, or equivalent premier institutes).
- Domain Expertise: Domain experience in Insurance, Fintech, Payments, Lending, or heavily regulated financial environments.
- Integrations: Direct experience building integrations with banks, insurance platforms, payment gateways, ERP platforms, or government systems.
- Advanced AI Technologies: Hands-on experience with AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, prompt engineering, model evaluation, AI observability, and AI governance.
- Product Lifecycle: Track record of scaling products from early 0-to-1 architecture to enterprise production platforms.
