About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Agentic AI Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in building, deploying, and scaling AI-powered applications, with a strong focus on autonomous AI agents and agentic workflows.

You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to design, develop, integrate, evaluate, and optimize intelligent AI systems that can reason, plan, use tools, and execute complex, multi-step tasks.

The role focuses on building production-ready agentic AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), multi-agent architectures, workflow orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI automation.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, decision-making, and multi-step task execution.
- Build and orchestrate multi-agent systems to handle complex workflows and coordinate tasks across multiple agents.
- Develop agentic applications using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies.
- Integrate LLMs with external APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and third-party platforms using tool calling and function calling.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines using embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and hybrid retrieval techniques.
- Develop agent memory, context management, state persistence, and checkpointing mechanisms for long-running workflows.
- Optimize prompts, system instructions, model selection, inference latency, token usage, and execution costs.
- Build reliable AI workflows with structured outputs, error handling, retries, validation, and fallback mechanisms.
- Evaluate agent performance using task-completion metrics, accuracy, reliability, latency, and cost benchmarks.
- Implement guardrails, human-in-the-loop approvals, and validation mechanisms to ensure safe and predictable agent behavior.
- Integrate AI agents with backend services, APIs,



databases, and existing business workflows.
- Deploy, monitor, debug, and maintain production-grade agentic AI applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for agent architecture, testing, and deployment.
- Stay updated with advancements in LLMs, agentic AI, reasoning models, AI orchestration, and emerging AI frameworks.

Required Skills

- 5–8 years of professional software development or AI engineering experience, including hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience building scalable backend services.
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool/function calling.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing AI agents and multi-step agentic workflows.
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of API integration, REST services, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG pipelines, semantic search, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Knowledge of agent memory, context management, state handling, and workflow orchestration.
- Experience evaluating, debugging, and improving LLM-based applications in production environments.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including Git, testing, code reviews, and maintainable architecture.
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and system-design skills.




- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

- Experience building production-grade multi-agent systems with complex orchestration and inter-agent communication.
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and integrations with external tools and data sources.
- Experience with advanced RAG techniques, reranking, query rewriting, and retrieval optimization.
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation frameworks, observability tools, tracing, and agent performance monitoring.
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning, model quantization, inference optimization, or deploying open-source models.
- Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as LlamaIndex, Pydantic AI, Semantic Kernel, or similar technologies.
- Experience with FastAPI, message queues, Redis, PostgreSQL, or other backend technologies.
- Understanding of AI security, prompt injection risks, data privacy, and guardrail implementation.
- Experience designing fault-tolerant, scalable, and cost-efficient AI architectures.
- A portfolio of deployed AI agents, agentic applications, or enterprise AI automation projects.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience building and deploying production-grade AI systems will also be considered.
