Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial documentation, preferably with experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial setup.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and general accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
- Handle GST returns, TDS calculations, deductions, and timely statutory filings.
- Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, customer reconciliation, and general ledger scrutiny.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, financial planning, and expense control.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.




- Maintain proper documentation for invoices, vouchers, bills, and other financial transactions.
- Monitor expenses, identify discrepancies, and support cost-control initiatives.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
- Assist in payroll accounting, fixed asset accounting, and inventory reconciliation, wherever applicable.

Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com in Commerce or Finance.
- CA Inter or other relevant accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, distillery, or other industrial operations.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and audit coordination.
- Familiarity with statutory compliance and financial reporting requirements.
