Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ECC and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing integrated Finance and Controlling solutions, along with supporting client-facing consulting and delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and implement SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
- Conduct client requirement-gathering sessions to understand financial and cost accounting processes.
- Prepare configuration blueprints for the Chart of Accounts, GL accounts, cost centers, cost elements, and financial structures.
- Configure financial processes, including invoice processing, payment management, tax handling, and intercompany transactions.
- Implement cost center accounting structures, cost allocation cycles, and internal cost transfer mechanisms.
- Conduct fit-to-standard assessments and gap analysis, and prepare solution design documents and technical specifications.
- Support data migration planning, validation, and testing for GL balances, fixed assets, AP/AR master data, and open documents.
- Handle month-end closing activities, financial reconciliations, and compliance-related processes.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other modules.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ECC, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA.

Tech Stack & Knowledge :

- General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Fixed Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA).
- Cost elements and cost allocation methods.
- Strong understanding of SAP configuration, transaction codes, configuration tables, and master data.
- Experience with month-end closing, reconciliation procedures, and financial compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or an equivalent qualification.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud or Public Cloud.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications related to FICO.
- Knowledge of integration between SAP FICO and SAP MM/SD.
- Previous experience in SAP consulting or implementation projects.
- SAP FICO certification would be an added advantage.
