Role : Quality Control Lead

We are looking for a Quality Control Lead for multiple product lines at the company. For this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including product managers, developers, quality analysts, server administrators and security engineers to establish a robust QC process.

Ultimately, you need to be extremely hands-on and can take charge of the complete manual and automation testing requirements of different project teams.

Responsibilities :

- Define and document the overall testing strategy and planning for all applications.
- Lead the implementation of comprehensive testing tools and procedures to achieve maximum automation.
- Lead the QC team, in preparing and executing manual and automated test activities, with good quality and short turnaround time.
- Lead the analysis and investigation of test results and findings, root cause analysis, coordinating with development team.
- Coordinate with other teams, for testing of interfaces and other dependencies between applications.
- Coordinate with the Customer Service team for complaints and feedback; triage cases and provide L3 support; assign bugs to Development teams and track to closure within SLA norms.
- Manage the governance and processes allowing to design, and validate the test cases, the efforts estimations, planning and potential risks.




- Provide official sign-off for features and projects.
- Contribute to the selection and hiring of QC team members.
- Adapt and iterate quickly based on user feedback and metrics.

Desired Skill Set :

- You have experience working with large scale internet facing applications, especially with mobile applications on web, Android and iOS.
- You are well versed with Agile Software Development and Management methods (user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.) and can excel within an Agile environment.
- You are hands-on with an automation framework like Selenium or Appium or Robot Framework or Webdriver.
- You are well versed with a tool like Postman to test API endpoints.
- You are valuable with an RDBMS (preferably MySQL) and can frame queries of medium to high complexity.
- You are proficient in a scripting language (preferably Python).
- You value progress over perfection and have a track record of shipping value to customers.
- You're passionate about working together with a team to solve customer problems.
- You get excited about teaching and mentoring junior team members.
- You have a good command of written and spoken English.
