We’re hiring: QA Engineer — Manual and Automation Testing

Location: Pune

Duration: 12 months contract

Experience: 3+ years

AITEK is looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of an end-to-end sentiment-analysis platform covering Voice of Customer data ingestion, sentiment processing, Angular dashboards, FastAPI services, and business reports.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare test plans, scenarios, and test data for web applications, APIs, and data integrations
- Test authentication, pagination, throttling, retries, schema changes, and failure recovery
- Reconcile source, ingestion, processing, and report totals
- Validate filters, aggregations, time zones, exports, sentiment labels, confidence scores, topics, and classifications
- Build automated UI and API tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Automate API and data-validation testing with Postman or Python
- Execute regression tests and support release sign-off




- Log, triage, and track defects through resolution in Jira
- Maintain automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines
- Produce testing metrics and release-readiness reports

What we’re looking for

- 3+ years of manual and automated testing experience
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Experience with Postman or Python-based API automation
- Robust SQL, JSON, CSV, and data-reconciliation skills
- Familiarity with Jira, Git, CI/CD, and defect management
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience with performance testing, BDD, Docker, Kubernetes, telecommunications, CX platforms, or ML/NLP output validation is advantageous.
