Technical Knowledge and Systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing planning, production scheduling, and shop-floor operations.
- Experience managing capacity constraints, changeovers, labor requirements, and production priorities.
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, as well as manufacturing execution processes.
- Experience using Kinaxis or similar advanced planning and scheduling systems preferred.
- Ability to frequently use a computer, keyboard,
and other standard office equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Analytical and Interpersonal Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate multiple constraints and make sound decisions.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced manufacturing environment.
Your Daily Tasks
Production Scheduling and Execution
- Build and maintain finite production schedules aligned with capacity, labor, equipment, changeovers, and material availability while honoring freeze, slushy, and liquid scheduling policies.
- Create, release, and track work and process orders; monitor shop-floor output and schedule attainment; and adjust production sequences within authorized limits based on real-time constraints.
- Lead daily short-interval control activities with Operations and Maintenance to address breakdowns, changeovers, and micro-stops while maintaining production stability.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Materials to address shortages and with Quality to resolve holds, minimize idle time, and expedite safe recovery, while documenting impacts and corrective actions.
- Participate in daily production huddles and short-interval control meetings, contribute to weekly Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE;)
reviews for exception management and allocation decisions, and escalate structural issues to Master Planning through established processes.
- Collaborate with the Master Planner on baseline schedules and resequencing rules; with Operations and Maintenance on execution feasibility; with Materials on component readiness; with Quality on holds and releases; and with Customer Service on allocation timing.
Data Accuracy, Systems, and Performance
- Maintain accurate production confirmations and execution data to ensure upstream planning, available-to-promise (ATP) calculations, and allocations reflect actual manufacturing conditions.
- Use ERP scheduling boards and confirmations to manage execution, and Kinaxis views to review constraints, pegging, and allocations, while adhering to Center of Excellence (CoE) parameter and change-control standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including schedule attainment, throughput versus plan, adherence to freeze and changeover rules, exception closure lead time, and execution data accuracy.
Exception Management and Escalation
- Resequence production within established scheduling rules to absorb disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
- Escalate persistent capacity losses, critical material shortages, and policy breaches, presenting quantified options and recovery timelines to support timely decisions.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
