Darzi House, a premium men’s ethnic wear label rooted in timeless craftsmanship and contemporary design, is looking for a Production Manager to join our growing team in Mumbai.

As we build and expand the brand, we’re looking for someone proactive, organized, and hands-on who can oversee production operations, coordinate with artisans and vendors, and ensure every garment meets our standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end garment production, from sampling and material sourcing to final finishing and dispatch.
- Coordinate with master tailors, karigars, pattern makers, fabric suppliers, and external production vendors.
- Plan production schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of orders and collections.
- Supervise and coordinate production teams, ensuring accountability, productivity, and quality standards.
- Monitor garment quality, fit, finishing, embroidery, and detailing at every stage.
- Manage fabric consumption, inventory, production costing, and vendor timelines.
- Maintain production trackers, documentation, and style-wise progress reports.
- Work closely with the design team to understand garment construction, design specifications, and collection requirements.
- Assist with sampling, design development, and technical decisions wherever required.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency.

- What We’re Looking For





- 1–3 years of experience in garment production, fashion merchandising, apparel manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong people-management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage workers, artisans, and vendors effectively.
- A basic understanding of garment construction, fabrics, patterns, and finishing techniques.
- An eye for design and detail, with an interest in menswear, ethnic wear, or occasion wear.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A hands-on, solution-oriented approach and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets for production tracking and reporting.
- Based in Mumbai and comfortable travelling locally to production units, workshops, vendors, and other work locations as required.
