Role Description The Product Graphic Designer volunteer will support PANHA’s mission by designing visually compelling product assets that communicate care, safety, and emotional support. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating graphics and layouts for digital and physical products, designing packaging and visual elements that reflect the brand’s identity, and collaborating with the team to develop user-friendly, empathetic product experiences. The role involves refining existing designs,



preparing files for production, and ensuring consistency across touchpoints such as the website, social media, and partner materials.

This is a remote volunteer role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a mental health initiative that impacts communities across India.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics, with the ability to create clear, empathetic visual communication.
- Experience in Product Design and Packaging Design for digital or physical products, with attention to usability and user experience.
- Knowledge of Branding, including visual identity, typography, and color systems aligned with a mental health–focused mission.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar software).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Sensitivity toward mental health topics and a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable communities.
- Relevant education or training in design, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Portfolio showcasing product-related graphic design work, especially projects focused on social impact or community initiatives.
