Job Title : Implementation Specialist / Solaris System Administrator

Location : Bangalore (On-site)

Notice Period : Immediate to Maximum 45 Days (Strict Requirement)

We are looking for a hands-on, high-expertise Implementation Specialist to drive a business-critical infrastructure migration project. In this role, you will be directly responsible for executing complex host-based and array-based storage migration tasks from the OS level in a robust Solaris SPARC setting, ensuring seamless cutovers and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Migration Execution: Perform hands-on execution of host-based and array-based storage data migrations from the OS level across Solaris SPARC environments.
- System Administration & Configuration: Administer, troubleshoot, and configure Solaris SPARC servers to support large-scale storage re-architectures and maintain stability.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with storage engineering, infrastructure, and project management teams to plan, test, and execute migration cutovers according to strict project timelines.
- Post-Migration Validation:



Conduct comprehensive health checks, validate data integrity, troubleshoot OS-level errors, and ensure optimal system performance and stability post-migration.

Must-Have Skills &

Experience :

- 5 to 8 years of total IT experience with 5 years of dedicated, relevant experience in Solaris SPARC Administration.
- Specific operational background, including:
- 4 years of hands-on work experience with Solaris
- 2 years of hands-on work experience with SPARC architecture
- Proven, direct experience executing Host-based and Array-based storage migrations from the OS level.
- Deep knowledge of UNIX/Solaris storage management (ZFS, VxVM, SVM), multipathing, LUN mapping, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Hands-on experience working with Dell Storage arrays and enterprise hardware integration.
