Summary We are looking for a skilled .NET Data Engineer to build and maintain the data backbone of an AI-driven submission management and reserving platform for the insurance industry. The role focuses on developing reliable data pipelines, integrating third-party APIs, transforming structured and unstructured data, and ensuring data quality using C#/.NET, SQL Server, and Azure.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain repeatable ETL processes to import data from CSV files and external APIs into SQL Server, including data cleansing, transformation, migration, and validation.
- Develop .NET/C# applications, Azure Functions, and console utilities to integrate third-party APIs, process bulk data, and synchronize information with SQL Server.
- Build reusable SQL stored procedures and implement resilient data-processing solutions with authentication, retry logic, error handling, and asynchronous processing.
- Implement data quality checks, unit and integration testing, Git version control, and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for CI/CD and multi-workplace deployments.
- Develop reporting datasets, KPI queries, and SQL views while documenting data flows, mapping logic,



and data quality issues in collaboration with stakeholders.

Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET development, including Azure Functions and console applications for data processing.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, stored procedures, ETL processes, data transformation, migration, and data quality validation.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, including OAuth and Bearer token authentication, request/response mapping, and resilient HTTP client development.
- Knowledge of Entity Framework Core, LINQ, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, structured logging, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, CI/CD, and multi-environment deployments. Familiarity with commercial insurance, underwriting, reserving, ACORD forms, loss runs, SOVs, and insurance data models is an advantage.
