How You’ll Make An Impact

- The success candidate will be the part of Design and Engineering Team specialized in Traction Transformer design.

- Responsible for mechanical development of Traction Transformer’s order and tender designs in compliance with the Market and Sales Strategy to meet the market needs.

- Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials etc & submission to customer as per project schedule.

- Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics

- Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.

- Participation in internal design concept reviews.

- Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.

- Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

Your background

- B.E / B.

Tech Mechanical

Engineering.

- 3-8 Years Experience working in Mechanical design for Transformers/ Heavy Engineering industry/ pump/ Bearing/ Gear/ Automobiles manufacturing Industry.

- Knowledge on CAD software, any 3D Modelling software is a must. Creo is considered as an advantage.

- Experience in Windchill PLM is desirable.

- Should understand Mechanical Design concepts & calculations, Dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and electromechanical.

- Should have good understanding of IEC Standards & Global Standards.

- Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.

- Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

- Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.

- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.`(empty)
