Role Description The Italian Chef role at Perfect Digital HR is a full-time, on-site position based in South Delhi. The chef will be responsible for planning and preparing authentic Italian dishes, including pastas, pizzas, risottos, sauces, and desserts, while maintaining consistent taste, presentation, and portion standards. Daily tasks include managing kitchen operations, coordinating with support staff, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and monitoring inventory levels for ingredients and supplies.

The chef will also contribute to menu development, introduce seasonal or special dishes,



and adapt recipes to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements. Collaboration with management on cost control, quality assurance, and guest feedback will be an significant part of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, including traditional and contemporary recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Experience in professional kitchens, with the ability to manage food preparation, timing, and plating under high-volume conditions.
- Understanding of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene practices, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Ability to plan menus, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure consistent availability of quality ingredients.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and management.
- Capability to train and guide junior kitchen staff, maintain discipline, and foster a respectful, inclusive work environment.
- Attention to detail, creativity in dish presentation, and commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
- Relevant culinary education or certification in cooking or hospitality is preferred; prior experience as an Italian Chef or in a similar role is highly beneficial.
