Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Testing Engineer to validate enterprise applications, ensure software quality, and execute comprehensive testing processes.
The candidate should have strong expertise in test planning, test execution, defect management, and quality assurance methodologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to develop effective test strategies.
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on project requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to resolve issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis of defects and support timely resolution.
- Validate application workflows, business rules, data integrity, and system integrations.
- Participate in test reviews, requirement walkthroughs, and release readiness assessments.
- Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production release validation.
Required Skills :
- 5 - 8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Proficiency in writing test cases and preparing test scenarios.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent platforms.
- Understanding of APIs, databases, and SQL-based data validation.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with test management tools and test execution frameworks.
- Exposure to automation testing and continuous integration processes.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
