Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IBDP Mathematics Teacher who has experience teaching both Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) and Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation (AI).
The teacher will provide personalized 1-to-1 online tutoring to IBDP students, helping them strengthen their mathematical understanding, develop problem-solving skills, and prepare effectively for IB assessments and examinations.
Experience teaching both AA and AI is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1-to-1 online Mathematics classes for IBDP students.
- Teach both Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) and Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation (AI).
- Explain mathematical concepts, methods, and problem-solving techniques clearly.
- Help students develop conceptual understanding and mathematical reasoning.
- Prepare students for IB assessments, internal tests, and final examinations.
- Support students with practice questions, past-paper questions, and exam techniques.
- Identify learning gaps and provide targeted academic support.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
Requirements Must Have
- Strong subject knowledge of IBDP Mathematics AA and AI.
- Previous teaching experience with both AA and AI.
- Familiarity with the IBDP Mathematics curriculum and assessment structure.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly.
- Good communication skills and the ability to conduct effective online classes.
Preferred
- Experience preparing students for IBDP Mathematics examinations.
- Experience teaching both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).
- Experience tutoring international students through 1-to-1 online classes.
- Familiarity with IB-style examination questions and past papers.
