The Human Resources (HR) & Admin role plays a key part in supporting business expansion and the establishment of a new laboratory. The position combines recruitment, HR system development, employee engagement, labour compliance, and general administration, offering an opportunity to build essential organisational processes from the ground up while working closely with management and the company’s headquarters in Japan.

Responsibilities

- Lead recruitment activities to support business expansion

- Design and implement HR systems and policies

- Manage performance management and employee engagement initiatives

- Oversee HR operations and ensure compliance with applicable labour requirements

- Manage general administration and office operations

- Coordinate with the company’s headquarters in Japan

- Support the establishment of the new laboratory and broader organisational development

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree

- At least 3 years of experience in human resources and administration

- Japanese-language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 or above





- Business-level English communication skills

- Preferred qualifications:

- Experience working in a Japanese company

- Experience designing HR policies

- Background in the manufacturing industry
