Role Description The Hair Trainer will be responsible for delivering hands-on training and workshops to salon professionals on haircutting, styling, coloring techniques, and hair care best practices. This full time, on-site role based in Gurugram involves designing training modules, conducting practical demonstrations, evaluating skill levels, and providing constructive feedback to help partners maintain high service standards.

Trainer will collaborate with internal teams to align training content with Billu Salon App’s digital tools and offerings, ensuring that partners can effectively showcase and manage their services through the platform. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling training sessions, preparing learning materials, staying updated on trends and products, and supporting partners with technical and service-related queries.

Qualifications

- Strong practical expertise in haircutting, hairstyling, and hair coloring techniques, with the ability to demonstrate and teach these skills clearly.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs or workshops for salon professionals, including curriculum planning and session facilitation.
- Knowledge of hair care products, treatments, hygiene standards, and client consultation practices, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Comfort using digital tools and mobile apps to support training, documentation, and communication with salon partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach diverse learners and build positive relationships with partner salons.
- Prior experience as a senior hairstylist, salon educator, or hair academy trainer is highly beneficial.
- Relevant certification or formal training in hairdressing or cosmetology is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and travel locally as needed for training engagements.
