About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our guest house in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent guest experiences, maintaining service quality, and driving occupancy and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily guest house operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Lead, supervise, recruit, and train staff to maintain high standards of hospitality.
- Manage room bookings, online travel platforms (OTAs), reservations, and guest enquiries.
- Develop strategies to increase room occupancy, revenue, and overall business performance.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, expenses, payroll, accounts, and operational costs.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, and other business partners.
- Monitor guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.




- Prepare regular reports on occupancy, revenue, expenses, and business performance.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in hotel, resort, guest house, or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of room reservations, online booking platforms, and hospitality operations.
- Understanding of revenue management, budgeting, expenses, and financial reporting.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage the property independently and take responsibility for overall performance.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and online reputation management will be an added advantage.
