About the role

We are looking for a Gen AI Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to lead the design and development of AI-powered applications across different areas of Generative AI.

You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to architect, build, ship, and scale AI solutions using modern AI models, APIs, frameworks, and tools, while mentoring junior engineers and driving technical decisions.

The role offers deep ownership across multiple areas of AI, including LLM applications, AI agents, Voice AI, Computer Vision, Prompt Engineering, NLP, Multimodal AI, and AI automation.

Responsibilities

- Architect, build, and scale AI-powered applications and features using modern AI models and APIs.
- Own the technical roadmap for GenAI features across multiple domains based on product requirements.
- Lead development of applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI models.
- Design and deploy production-grade AI agents and autonomous/multi-step workflows.
- Architect Voice AI systems, including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, conversational AI, and voice agents.
- Design and implement Computer Vision solutions for image and video-based use cases at scale.
- Define and optimize prompting strategy, system instructions, structured outputs, and tool/function calling across the product.
- Design NLP, embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge-based AI systems.
- Evaluate, benchmark, and select AI models, APIs,



frameworks, and architectures.
- Lead integration of AI capabilities with backend services, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Own AI system performance — accuracy, relevance, latency, reliability, and cost — and drive improvements.
- Debug complex AI application issues and conduct deep analysis of model outputs.
- Take systems from prototype to robust, scalable production features.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work on AI features.
- Stay ahead of developments in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, Voice AI, Computer Vision, and multimodal AI, and bring relevant advances into the product.

Required Skills

- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, including production systems.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence fundamentals.
- Proven experience designing and consuming APIs and REST services at scale.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and structured output design.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI models into production applications.
- Solid proficiency with Git/GitHub and collaborative engineering workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills on complex, ambiguous systems.
- Ability to evaluate new AI tools and frameworks and make sound adoption decisions.




- Track record of shipping and owning AI features end-to-end.

Good to Have

- Production experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or open-source AI models.
- Experience building and scaling AI Agents, Voice Agents, Conversational AI, or AI automation systems.
- Experience with Computer Vision, NLP, Speech AI, or Multimodal AI in production.
- Strong experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar.
- Experience with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, or RAG pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of FastAPI, Node.js, React, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Docker and AWS/cloud platforms in production environments.
- Experience leading or mentoring on AI chatbot, voice application, AI agent, or computer vision projects.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Candidates with strong production AI/GenAI experience and a track record of shipped projects are strongly preferred.
