Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work extensively with Google BigQuery for data storage, processing, transformation, and analytical workloads.
- Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using dbt (data build tool).
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to support efficient data processing and analytics.
- Build, maintain, and optimize data models to support reporting, analytics, and business requirements.
- Implement data quality checks, testing, and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Optimize BigQuery queries and data models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and resolve data transformation and processing errors.
- Collaborate with data engineers,



analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Follow best practices for version control, documentation, testing, deployment, and data governance.

Requirements :

- 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, or a related field.
- Strong practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, including SQL development and query optimization.
- Strong experience with dbt for data transformation, data modelling, and testing.
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and performance optimization.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data quality, validation, testing, and data governance practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred and willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Bangalore.
