Role Description The GCP Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to support scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include provisioning and managing compute, storage, and networking resources, automating deployments, and monitoring performance and availability of cloud services. The role involves collaborating with software development teams to build and optimize cloud-native applications, ensuring best practices in security, cost management, and reliability.

The engineer will also troubleshoot production issues, implement improvements, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.



This is a full-time role based in Bengaluru in a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility for work from home.

Qualifications

- 2-4 years of work experience with GCP cloud.
- Strong proficiency in Cloud Computing, with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform services and architectures.
- Experience in Infrastructure design and management, including networking, security, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Background in Software Development, with skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration, scripting, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Knowledge of Databases, including relational and NoSQL systems, and experience with deployment, maintenance, and optimization on cloud platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and GCP-native tools (e.g., GKE, Cloud Run) is beneficial.
- Ability to work in hybrid teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and document architectures and procedures effectively.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Google Skilled Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer) are an advantage.
