Position Description

The Web Application Platform team develops high-quality web applications that improve manufacturing efficiency, performance, quality, and predictability. These custom digital applications are built using modern web technologies to digitize manual processes and support better decision-making.

We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Lead who can combine technical leadership with production-grade coding expertise. The individual will lead small application development teams, work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders, and drive end-to-end application delivery while ensuring code quality, architectural integrity, and alignment with platform standards. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development expertise, experience in Agile delivery, AI-augmented development, cloud infrastructure, and automated software delivery practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities

- Coordinate a team of developers in building and delivering production-grade applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
- Lead technical delivery of assigned web applications, owning the development lifecycle and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders on sprint prioritization, backlog refinement, and iteration planning.
- Champion AI-native development using Claude Code to accelerate full-stack application delivery while maintaining coding standards, quality, and consistency.
- Lead by example through hands-on coding, code reviews, and implementation of development best practices.
- Drive end-to-end automation,



including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and comprehensive automated testing.
- Build and maintain applications using Node.js, React, TypeScript, Django, and Python.
- Design and integrate REST APIs.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Git, and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and support applications in serverless and/or microservices-based environments.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and technical debt proactively.
- Maintain technical integrity, architectural soundness, quality standards, and alignment with platform principles.
- Communicate project status, technical decisions, and process improvements clearly to platform management.
- Ensure proper documentation of code, system designs, and project artifacts.
- Apply Agile delivery practices and AI-augmented development techniques to improve iteration speed and development productivity.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Must-Have Skills:

- 9+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on coding experience in Node.js, React, TypeScript, Django, and Python.
- Experience building and delivering production-grade full-stack applications.
- Strong understanding of REST API technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code using Terraform, and Git version control.
- Experience working in serverless and/or microservices-based environments.
- Infrastructure knowledge of at least one major cloud provider.
- Experience with Agile software development and delivery practices.
- Experience coordinating developers and leading technical delivery.
- Hands-on experience with code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Experience using AI-augmented development practices and tools, particularly Claude Code.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, task management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with AI-native software development workflows.
- Certifications or additional education related to software engineering and AI tools.
- Experience optimizing development velocity through AI-assisted coding and automated delivery practices.




- Experience working closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to improve application delivery and business processes.
