About ALB Academy of Languages and Beyond (ALB) is a language education company helping learners develop French proficiency for immigration, international education, and global career opportunities. We deliver structured, outcome-oriented programmes with a strong focus on exam preparation and practical language application.

We are looking for an experienced French Language Educator who can deliver structured classes and prepare learners specifically for DELF, TEF Canada and TCF Canada examinations.

Mandatory Requirements Please apply only if you meet ALL the following criteria:

- French proficiency: B2 or C1 level certification from a recognised institution.
- Relevant teaching experience: Demonstrated experience teaching French to students preparing for TEF Canada and/or TCF Canada. Experience preparing students for DELF is also desirable.
- Exam knowledge: Robust understanding of exam formats, task types, assessment criteria and preparation strategies for the examinations you teach.
- Teaching ability: Ability to explain concepts clearly, identify learner weaknesses, provide structured feedback and track student progress.
- Online teaching: Comfortable conducting interactive online classes, assigning practice work and maintaining learner progress records.
- Availability: Able to commit to the agreed teaching schedule and batch timings.

Applications without relevant TEF Canada or TCF Canada teaching experience will not be considered.



General French fluency alone is not sufficient for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct structured French classes aligned with learners' levels and examination goals.
- Prepare students for TEF Canada, TCF Canada and DELF, based on assigned batches.
- Teach and practise reading, listening, writing and speaking using exam-oriented tasks.
- Conduct mock tests, assess performance and provide actionable feedback.
- Identify individual learning gaps and recommend targeted practice.
- Prepare assignments, maintain attendance and submit progress updates.
- Follow ALB's curriculum, teaching standards and academic processes.
- Communicate professionally with learners and the academic team.

Selection Process Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete:
1. A review of French qualifications and relevant teaching experience.
2. A subject-matter interview covering the examinations they have taught.
3. A demonstration class to assess teaching quality, exam knowledge and learner engagement.
