Slidely AI is a PowerPoint AI assistant built for the way professionals actually make decks. In the last 30 days, users created more than 50,000 slides with Slidely, and 82.5% of them made it into real presentations.

Professionals at Deloitte, Airtel, Axis Bank and ABM Industries use Slidely, and our customers include teams at Fortune 500 companies. We’ve done this with a team of fewer than 10 people.

Now we’re hiring our founding growth engineer. You’ll start by building the systems that power our go-to-market, then grow into building the product itself.

------------------- WHY SLIDELY EXISTS -------------------

ChatGPT and Claude have made presentations easier for casual users. For professionals, a big gap remains.

1. Making PowerPoints is nobody’s job but everybody’s problem

Decks take up 30 to 50% of a consultant’s time, but nobody is paid to make them faster, and the best AI model changes every month. Keeping up is our job, so it doesn’t have to be theirs.

2. AI has no judgement, and no one has time to teach it

It doesn’t know which slides a sell-side private equity deck needs, or when a slide is too dense to read. We build what good looks like in each industry into every workflow: 95% best practice, 5% you.

3. A bad first draft just pushes the work to later

Without that judgement, ChatGPT and Claude ignore your template and put your speaker notes on the slide. Our plugin starts from your template, your industry’s best practices and your past work, and our PowerPoint add-in handles the iteration.

4. AI guesses what you want instead of checking with you

It asks a few generic questions, then disappears on a long job. Slidely confirms the storyline, data and layouts before building your deck, and shows you three options when you redesign a slide.

5. A sloppy deck comes off as sloppy work A deck can decide whether you get the funding, the investment or the approval, and the audience judges the work by the slides.

------------------- ABOUT THE TEAM -------------------

Slidely AI is backed by Y Combinator and supported by prominent founders, operators and executives.

Despite being a team of fewer than 10, we serve demanding enterprise customers and operate at a much larger company's pace.

Our founders, Apoorve and Nikhil, are computer science graduates from IIT Kharagpur with deep backgrounds in AI.

This is an in-person role from our office in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. We work six days a week, typically 9-10 hours a day, together.

------------------- WHAT YOU'LL DO -------------------

You’ll build the systems that help Slidely grow, in our go-to-market and in the product. Working closely with our CEO and our Founding Marketing Lead, you’ll start by setting up the automations, AI agents and workflows that let a team of under 10 market and sell like a much bigger company. From there, you’ll take on more of the product, especially the parts that drive growth.

In your first few months

- Social proof pipelines: build the systems that bring in customer stories, testimonials and reviews.
- Email workflows: build onboarding, re-engagement and dropped-off user flows using copy from our marketing lead.
- Technical SEO and AEO: own site structure,



web vitals and internal linking, and build the tracking for search rankings and how often Slidely shows up in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini.
- Dashboards and alerts: build the dashboards and alerts that show how our content, pages, emails and channels are performing, so the team can act on the numbers quickly.
- Support founder-led sales: build outreach lists, enrich leads, and surface buying signals (such as live signals from X and LinkedIn into Slack) so our founders spend their time on the right conversations.

Ongoing

- Automate what’s proven: when our marketing lead settles a process, turn it into a workflow that runs with minimal hand-holding.
- Product-led growth: build the features that turn users into active, paying teams, like onboarding, activation and usage signals that tell us when an enterprise team is ready for a conversation.
- Ship product: work on Slidely’s core product alongside the founders.

1. AI-native. You reach for agents first. You write skills, wire up automations, and get more done by building systems than by doing tasks by hand.
2. An engineer at heart. You reason from first principles, debug problems logically, and build things that others (and agents) can rely on.
3. A real engineer. You write production-quality code, not just glue between tools. You’d be as comfortable shipping a product feature as wiring up a pipeline.
4. Someone with taste. You know when a script beats an agent, when an off-the-shelf tool beats both, and when output isn’t good enough to ship.
5. Comfortable owning things end to end. As a founding growth engineer, you won’t inherit a playbook; you’ll write it.
