Role Description The FOS (Field Officer/Sales) role at Bajaj Finserv is a full-time, in office position based in Malda. The role involves meeting prospective and existing customers, explaining financial products, and assisting customers in selecting suitable lending, insurance, or investment solutions.

Responsibilities include generating leads, following up on inquiries, completing documentation, and ensuring timely processing of applications. The FOS will work closely with branch and regional teams to achieve sales targets, maintain compliance with company policies, and provide consistent service quality. The position also requires maintaining accurate records of customer interactions,



monitoring market trends, and sharing feedback to improve products and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and customer relationship skills, with the ability to engage, explain financial products clearly, and convert leads to successful business.
- Basic understanding of lending, insurance, and investment products, or willingness to quickly learn and adapt to Bajaj Finserv’s product portfolio.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English and local languages, with a professional, customer-focused manner.
- Good organizational and documentation abilities, including attention to detail while handling forms, agreements, and compliance requirements.
- Comfort with field work, including regular customer visits in and around Malda, and the ability to work independently to meet targets.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is advantageous.
- Prior experience in financial services, retail banking, insurance, or direct sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy, including use of mobile apps and CRM or sales tracking tools, along with a strong ethical and compliance mindset.
