Role Description The Finance Manager – Reporting & Compliance is a full-time, on-site role based at The Den Bengaluru. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, and ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and brand standards.

The Finance

Manager oversees internal controls, supports audits, and monitors adherence to company policies, identifying risks and implementing corrective measures where needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgeting and forecasting processes, reviewing expense allocations, tracking revenue performance, and providing financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions. The role also collaborates closely with department heads, guiding them on financial procedures, training team members on compliance best practices, and helping maintain a strong culture of transparency and accountability.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review quarterly/annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and IFRS frameworks.
- Audit Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external, statutory, and internal auditors.
- Taxation & Compliances:



Ensure timely computation and filing of Direct Tax (IT Returns) and Indirect Tax (GST, TCS/TDS) compliances.
- IFC & Governance: Establish, evaluate, and maintain Internal Financial Control (IFC) frameworks; conduct risk assessments and report any compliance deviations directly to leadership.
- Ledger Scrutiny: Perform detailed scrutiny of general ledgers, sub-ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, and trial balances to ensure accuracy and resolve anomalies.
- Support DoF: Support the Director of Finance in daily operation and books finalisation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong financial reporting and analysis skills, including experience with preparing financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Candidates should possess robust expertise in compliance, internal controls, and audit support, with knowledge of local regulations, tax laws, and hospitality industry standards.
- Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail in ledger auditing.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as ERP or hotel accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or hotel accounting platforms like Opera/SunSystems)., spreadsheet applications, and data reconciliation techniques.
- Candidates should possess solid budgeting, forecasting, and cost management skills to support efficient operations and strategic planning.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills to work with operations, sales, and leadership teams.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting
- CA or ACCA qualification is mandatory
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality finance, or in a similar Finance Manager or senior accounting role, is highly beneficial.
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience handling Ind AS / IFRS reporting, GST filings, and IFC implementation.
